Frequently Asked Questions

How high is the heel on a pair of Kiques?

8.5cm high.

Is the heel height the same on both the Low-Rise and High Top designs?

Yes.

What is the difference between the Low-Rise and High Top designs?

The low rise designs upper only rise to just below the ankle, whereas the High top designs rise a little above the ankle.

Will there be different heel heights added to the range?

Yes. Our range of designs will be regularly added to. There are shorter heeled designs in the pipeline as well as flat casual designs - so keep your eyes on our socials for future release details.

How do I know what size to order?

The feedback to date has been that Kiques are true to their European sizing. If you check your favourite pair of shoes for their EU size, we recommend ordering that same size in Kiques. If you are still hesitant, there is a sizing guide available in the photo’s of each design post.

What changes were made to the Oniques/Astriques designs when compared to the first releases?

The first Kiques releases (Signature/Electrika/Cheetah) feature a 5mm memory foam inner sole, where as the Oniques and Astriques designs feature an 8mm Memory foam inner sole. This slight increase in thickness was added to increase your comfort levels in Kiques.

The shoe laces were changed from 100% cotton to a nylon material to keep them looking brighter and newer for longer since the cotton shoelaces seemed to pick up dirt very easily and look old relatively quickly.

The shoe laces were also shortened to reduce the size of the loops when tied in a bow.

Can I wear Sneaker Heels as if they were ordinary sneakers?

No. Kiques do not recommend wearing high heels for long periods of time - even if they are Sneaker Heels.

If the size is not correct, am I able to exchange my KIQUES?

For exchange and return details, please refer to our Refund and Returns policy.

What is Synthetic/Vegan Leather?

Vegan leather is an alternative to animal leather and is made without using any animal products. It is 100% animal-cruelty free.

Vegan leather is artificial, synthetic, or “faux” leather and is made from agricultural waste products and sustainable biomaterials. It can also be made from polymers like polyurethane and other recyclable materials. Vegan leather requires fewer resources than animal leather and, did we mention 100% animal- cruelty free?! Manufacturers make vegan leather in many ways and process it to closely resemble conventional leather in strength, texture, and appearance. Vegan leather requires natural fibers, agricultural waste products, and recyclable materials, making it relatively environmentally friendly as well as animal friendly.

Kiques support the use of animal friendly products and intend to explore the use of other animal-cruelty free materials in the future.

Can I purchase the KIQUES Shoe Tote separately?

No. The Shoe Tote replaces the shoe box for specific designs and is colour matched to each of the designs that it is paired with. You are only able to obtain a Kiques Shoe Tote by purchasing the relative Kiques Sneaker Heel. Check out the item description of each design to find out if it is paired with a Shoe tote.

Where are KIQUES made?

KIQUES are designed by Kaitee O’Sullivan in Brisbane but are physically made in China at a small family owned and operated factory that has between 5-12 employees depending on the season.

We choose to work with this factory due to their 16+ years of experience in shoe manufacturing, and the personalised service we receive from their small team. We value the opportunity to support a small business in China and appreciate their support to continue to build and grow our product range.
