Living through my party years I was all about comfort over style. I could not see the point in going out on the town looking glam if that meant being in pain and uncomfortable so my shoes were always the first item I picked to wear for a night out. There weren’t many options outside of casual kicks/sneakers to keep my comfort level high for all night fun and dancing so that is what molded my personal style – my kicks.

As my career path started to move into a corporate environment, I found that my relaxed street style was having to adjust. I struggled to find shoes that could adapt into a corporate world and had to find a style that could ‘fit’ whilst not ignoring ‘me’. Pants suits and blazers paired with casual kicks became my everyday go to which quickly merged into my personal style of “chic cool”.

Over the last 10 years I casually searched for a sporty looking heel that would match my personal relaxed style. I made many online purchases that never arrived and the shoes that did were of a terrible quality/feel. I made many comments to family and friends over several years to say that I should design my own as I figured that I couldn’t be the only person who wanted to find a fancy heeled shoe that could easily be matched with jeans and a tee as well as a fancy dress depending on the mood/occassion. 

In 2020 I took pencil to paper and Kiques were born! 

My goal is to empower people to express themselves through their fashion choices by providing a super neat high heeled shoe that will be the central building block of your outfit choice. To have a comfortable and stylish heel that makes your outfit feel more ‘YOU’ than ever before. I want to blur the lines between street and party wear and offer you the shoes to make your outfit - the shoes to make you feel confident, smoking and seductive every time you put them on – even when paired with jeans and a plain t-shirt.
